Blog #5: We're back with a game breakthrough

I know it can be a struggle to read anything more than 5 seconds long. But take a breath and read an update on our indie studio journey, it's been a while.

Read time est 3 mins.

Our founders have been working hard on personal projects, new jobs, studies and more. And now we're coming back to bring our learnings to our debut title Violet's Visions.

Roxanne is a white woman with wavy ginger hair. She holds a pink plushie on her shoulder.

Roxanne spent a big year at Riot Games.

Roxanne joined Riot as MarComms Lead for Northern Europe (FTC).

It was an exciting year, with the the launch of VALORANT on console, League of Legends Worlds in London, and the release of Arcane Season 2.

Roxanne got to dive in head first into publishing two of the world's biggest live service games, and lead Marketing for multiple regions.

Roxanne's been playing

Lots of League of Legends, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Slay the Princess, and Haven.

Gianluca is a black man who wears a denim jacket and white tee. He stands at a podium at WASD gaming event and is giving a speech.

Gianluca achieved some amazing Firsts.

This year Gianluca secured his first game credit on Aerial_Knight's We Never Yield, alongside the BetaJester team.

And he achieved First Class Honours in Game Design (BA). We're super proud of Gianni and he's already working hard to bring his new knowledge and tech skills into more complex and robust systems for Violet's Visions.

Gianni's been playing

Gianluca attended the Disney Lorcana TCG Challenge event and got into the top 32! Pokemon TCG Pocket is his current game of choice.

Stu is a white man with a shaved head. He wears a dark grey roll neck sweater and is folding his arms.

Stu has been teaching Gaming minds of the future.

Stu has been doing it all (nothing new there), teaching, freelancing as an artist, consulting for new studios on business development, running workshops for new indies, as well as speaking at and running events takes a breath.

He's also worked on the restructure of Game Dev Local to be an even bigger powerhouse for UK indies in 2025.

Stu's been playing

His students recently got him into Pokemon Go, and he's been playing Squad Busters a bunch.

A breakthrough with Violet's Visions

Somehow, alongside all of this we managed to come togethers for an IRL dev session this summer. We went through everything we've created to date and measured it against the results of our mystical games survey. We made a lot of changes and set ourselves up with a revised direction for Violet's Visions.

Our biggest breakthrough was with Visions which has been important element for us to conquer (the game's called Violet's Visions afterall) . We wanted Visions to be part of the gameplay and feel truly magical- and we think we've nailed it! We won't give too much away but you'll be able to use Violet's Seer ability to travel through the many era's of the ancient Vukana House using the aura of previous witches. Each witch holds a differents power which you can use to progres Present Day Violet's story. More to come on that soon.

In the next few months we'll share how we're revising our marketing stragey, implementing new systems- and testing them out, and developing some new art and narrative.

Thanks for sticking around! We've had a big year of learning and growing individually, and we're looking forward to bringing all of our new knowledge and skills to Violet's Visions.

Gianluca, Roxanne, Stuart.

Great post your insights in “Blog 5” really got me thinking about the interplay of design, user engagement, and creativity. When I was preparing for an online exam in digital media, I briefly looked at application essay proofreading service to help me craft clearer case study responses. That led me to explore exam helper platforms that guided my thinking more than just handing over prewritten answers.

This game development innovation is quite fascinating to read about! As a final-year student, I've been interested in game creation since I learnt to code, and I've been developing my own indie game portfolio. However, my dissertation has entirely consumed my time, leaving no room for creative development work. To ensure that I can continue to develop the practical abilities that will help me get recruited in this area, I've decided to hire a professional to do my dissertation for me. This financing will allow me to devote more attention to the innovative ideas that will propel my career ahead.

This game development innovation is quite fascinating to read about! As a PhD candidate investigating interactive media, I've been interested in game design theory since my undergraduate studies. However, the daunting task of drafting and arranging my thesis has entirely stopped my ability to participate with current industry advancements. To make a substantial contribution to this discipline, I've opted to seek structural support from a PhD thesis service UK. This will allow me to devote adequate time to analyzing groundbreaking developments such as yours, which are critical to my research on emergent gameplay dynamics.

This game development innovation is quite fascinating to read about! As an aspiring indie game developer, I've had a passion for coding and design since I was a teenager, devoting many hours to personal projects. However, my final university examinations, notably a difficult computer science test, are currently occupying all of my programming time. To return to my creative job, I began seeking for online Computer Science exam help. Finding the proper help would free up my time to concentrate on the game mechanics and storytelling that actually inspire me, allowing me to make my own discoveries.
